Halloween is a festive time of the year in most places, however, Ibiza holds a reputation for hosting some of the most fabulous and iconic halloween parties to date. This annual celebration is one of, if not THE biggest holiday on the Ibiza party calendar with incredible costumes, music, all-out decor and dancing being some of the islands most globally acknowledged facets and this is definitely showcased in all its glory on the 31st of October. With a plethora of partying options it is easy to be overwhelmed and so we have distilled what we believe to be the best events to attend for the most spectacular of spooky nights this year…
HEART
We are super excited to announce that Heart has organised what is sure to be an unmissable event this halloween with the music of Nico Stojan, Ocean vs Orientalis, Hraach and more providing the soundtrack to your spooky night in this fantastic venue. The night will begin at 23.00 with a special Halloween market and will continue until dawn with special decoration, animations, performances and many other fun surprises that we cannot wait to unveil with you in this innovative space that will remain a favourite spot of ours in its whacky foundations and groovy core…
LA GRANJA
We would highly recommend attending the Mexican themed Day of the Dead party at the stunning La Granja Ibiza this year. The evening beginning at 6pm until 2am with opportunities to make offerings to the deceased in the purest Mexican style along with gorgeous food and cocktails as well as lots of music and fun to spice up your night. We love this location for its rustic yet chic decor in a truly authentic Ibiza style, this event is more of a relaxed option if thats what you’re looking for this holiday. BAMBUDDHA
We can hardly contain our excitement upon the announcement that Bambuddha’s famous costume party will be hosted at the legendary club Pacha this year! The night will start with a deluxe menu inside Pacha catered by Bambuddha, which will turn into a party. There will be two types of tables available: All Night Long or Just dinner – let us know if you want either! From 9pm until late music will be pumping out the good vibes, but make sure not to forget your costume (beware strict door policy) with the theme of FETISHE-DEPRAVED-RELIGIOUS-WEIRD-FANTASTIC…
BOUTIQUE HOSTAL SALINAS
This year the BHS crew is pushing the boat out to create its ‘most spectacular extravaganza to date’, a party not to be for the faint-hearted! In collaboration with Ryan O Gorman, HALLOWEEN 17… THE PSYCHO-DELIC CIRCUS will roll into town with killer clowns, bearded ladies, animal trainers and a freak show that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, as well as one ghoulishly good line-up. Amp & Deck, Animal Trainer, Buckley, Tom Peppe and many more are all set to take over the decks to make one hell of a party – see you on the dance-floor!
ATZARO
‘Misbehave from beyond the Grave’ is this years motto at the one and only Atzaro. For after dark antics, adults can indulge in some Mischief here from 20.00 until late with make-up artists on hand to transform you into your worst nightmare, a mystical Tarot corner, a dungeon in the dance floor of doom, fab food, trick or treating, best and worst dressed costume competitions, music by Jo Mills, Joshua, Tom Grimes, Blackbeard and jUsToM (Tom Grimes), plus Dan Young on percussion, ‘it’s set to be a night you don’t want to miss.’
BABYLON BEACH
A well-established Halloween favourite, the beautiful Babylon Beach Ibiza also returns with ‘spooky day-to-night shenanigans’ on Wednesday the 31st of October from 14.00 until 21.00. We would recommend this event for more of a relaxed family-vibe, Babylon inviting all ages to enjoy activities provided by ‘Kids in Ibiza’, including face-painting and apple-bobbing. Adults can tuck-in to a Halloween-themed menu whilst grooving to the sounds of Mr Doris. Let us know if you would like to book a table in advance to avoid any disappointment!
