The annual Medieval Festival around the Dalt Vila area of Ibiza promises to be as good as ever this year. All the usual markets and entertainment will be there for the 3 days from Friday 7th until Sunday 9th May.
Take a walk in the town early evening to catch the street performers and shows!
There’s a small change this year as the opening ceremony will be held in a different location. The Reina Sofia park will be the venue for the 11.00 start of the festival when a spectacular song and dance performance called Akasha will take place. It’s the story of the great Medieval magicians competing for domination of the four elements; earth, wind, fire and water. There are 500 seats installed in the arena so it will be more comfortable for spectators.
