“Come Dine with Me – Where to get your fill….What a thrill!

Ibiza
The spot:  A full moon picnic opposite Es Vedra, the massive rock in the south west of the island which is said to be the 2nd most magnetic spot in all the world.
The area is covered with big morrocan rugs, piled with cushions and there are small folding tables with silver trays.
The picnic is lit with burning torches, church candles in storm breakers and tea light candles in glass holders. Listen out for the gentle strumming of
Spanish guitar and crashing waves from the sea below.

The Tucker
Tapas:
Mini tortillas
Pimientos de Padron roasted in sea salt.
Gambas al ajillo (Prawns in garlic.)
Pinxitos – skewers of marinaded chicken or lamb.
Seared sliced organic fillet of beef.
Local langoustines grilled with bay leaf and lemon zest
Escalivada – roasted peppers and aubergines
Crushed organic Ibizan ‘ red’ potato salad with green beans

If you’re still peckish chocolate truffles and macaroons appear served with fresh mint tea.

The Drink
Ibizkus – delicious organic palest rose from Ibiza
and Totem a delicous Rioja also from Ibiza.
White Sangria with mint and peaches

Deliciously Sorted Ibiza cant wait for Flower Power Festival – San Josep March 13th 2010

This Saturday sees San Josep transform!!!

With all the bars and restaurants open and people filling the streets, its promises to be one BIG party!!

Raco Verd , one of San Joseps best bars will be open and serving drinks from the outside barand with live bands playing in the square and everyone in fancy dress, it´ll be something NOT to be missed!!  Festivities begin around 6pm …. we hope to see you there!!

Saturday night from 22h, but clearly things don’t hot up until midnight at least is Flower Power. DJs in the plaza in front of the church, live 70s rock with “My Generation” in the terrace at Raco and much hilarity and hippy shenanigans all over the village.

Thursday 18th – Rock S’olivera at Raco verd. Six of the island’s newest bands showcase their stuff in the terrace at Raco Verd from 22h.

Friday 19th – Dia del San Jose. There is a big solemn mass in the church at midday, followed by a procession through the village and some acrobatic entertainment and human cirque de soleil type amusements. Big concert with a famous spanish band called Los Ressonadors from 22h in the plaza and then fireworks at midnight.

Saturday 20th – concert in the village with Paco Fernandez & Gente del Sol as well as two big rock groups Black Onions and Can Raia.

Mucha Fiesta y Muchos Chupitos!!!!!
